As the Lake County Freedom gets ready for a strong finish at at ASA Northern Nationals, in North Platte, Nebraska next week, work is already underway for the the 2012-13 season.

The Freedom announced today that they have scheduled three major College Exposure tournaments for the fall.

Besides regular sunday practices, single games, and double headers, the Freedom will participate in; the Heartland College Showcase Sept 28-30 in Des Moines IA, the Sparks Pumpkin Fest Oct 20-21, in Elgin, IL and the St Louis College Exposure tournament Nov 2-4.

Collectively, these three events will allow the talented Freedom players to demonstrate their skills in front of hundreds of college coaches.

The Lake County Freedom team plays a very competitive summer and fall tournament schedule against top opponents, and college exposure tournaments.

With all of our players, we expect a strong work ethic; respect for coaches other players parents and officials and an “always hustle, never quit” attitude.

While winning is always important, character development, academic success and the “joy of the game” are equally important goals of the program.
