Lake County and Grayslake Central Player Jamie Brew Lighting it Up at the Plate

Lake County Freedom and Grayslake Central corner infielder Jamie Brew has started her high school season off with a bang.

On an early Spring trip to Florida with her high school team, Brew batted .450 as the Grayslake Central Rams went 2-4 against some good competition.

After returning home Brew was at it again Monday at the plate when she doubled in the top of the 8th and scored the winning run as Grayslake Central defeated unbeaten Huntley 2-1.

On Tuesday, against Dundee Crown, Brew doubled twice and had an RBI as the Rams outmatched Dundee Crown 7-1.

With Tuesday win over Dundee Crown, Grayslake Central now has a two game winning streak going.
