Freedom Pitcher / OF Caitlyn Moran Pitches Grant High School to Two Wins

On Saturday, Freedom pitcher / outfielder Caitlyn Moran led her Grant High School team to two victories as the Lady Bulldogs won the Lakes Tournament by defeating
Addison Trail by a score of 5-4, and Lakes by a score of 2-0.

Moran threw a pair of gems in not so ideal weather conditions. On a blustery spring day with a wind chill temperature of 25 degrees, Moran struck out 19 batters over the two game tournament

Moran also came thru at the plate for the Lady Bulldogs with a triple and 2 singles. Other offensive contributors for Grant included; Jane Williams (1 double, 4 singles), Deanna Rodriguez (1 double,
1 single), Kenzie Sancken (1 triple), Jamie Reiser (1 double, 1 single), and Brooke Buckley (1 triple, 1 single).

The Lady Bull Dogs look to extend their winning streak today against Lakes High School at 4:30.
