Former Freedom Player Katherine Mena Receives Business Funding

Former Lake County Freedom player Kat Mena received over $29,000 in funding for her new sports related business Cleat Guard.  The business was started as a Barrington High School project. 

Mena who played two season for the Freedom and who pitched and played first base for the team was among a select group of Barrington students who received funding.

The Lake County Fastpitch family congratulates Kat and her team for acheiving this prestigious milestone.
